Donate to us
We are passionate about bringing unwanted items back to life by giving them a new look and a new home. We accept all types of furniture and household items and by donating to Upcycle Birmingham you are supporting your local community and reducing the amount of unwanted furniture that goes to landfill.
How to Donate
Donate in person at our warehouse or shop, or phone us on 0121 748 5795 and we will arrange a convenient time to come and collect your unwanted items.
Volunteer with us
Upcycle Birmingham would not be successful without our fantastic team of volunteers – local people with the determination and drive to improve the community in which they live.
In return, Upcycle Birmingham provides skills, training, work experience and apprenticeship opportunities in customer service, retail, carpentry, joinery, construction and plumbing to help our volunteers become more employable.
Richard’s story
“Richard, a young man from Castle Vale, has been looking for work for over 12 months and despite undertaking various training programmes, has been unable to secure employment. Richard started volunteering with Upcycle Birmingham in February 2017 and particularly enjoys collecting donated items and delivering them to our customers. He’s also interested in helping our social media marketing campaign and will be a regular contributor to the Upcycle Facebook page. In the long term, Richard has an eye on a career in logistics or transport which has been sparked by his experience at Upcycle.”
